Are you looking to join a fun and talented Designing Team? Look no further! We are currently looking to add a new enthusiastic member to the Guylou's Inimitability Design Team.

The call is open to:

U.S., Canada and International English speaking applicants
The call will run from October 16th to October 30th, 2011

If you are interested , please email the following information to info@guylousinimitability.com:

Three (3) pictures of your VERY BEST work. This can either be cards, layouts with pictures or altered items;
A paragraph (minimum 100 words) about you and why you want to be part of Guylou's Inimitability DT and what you will do to promote Guylou's Inimitability Digistamps;
A clickable link to your blog;
A clickable link to your online gallery or galleries;
A list of clickable links to all Design teams you are on.

What is expected of DT members?

If you are chosen to be a Guylou's Inimitability DT member you will be expected to:

Complete projects using Guylou's Inimitability digistamps for our bi-monthly challenges and post them to your blog on the challenge day(s).
Post comments on projects entered in our challenges.
Participate in Guylou's Inimitability events.
Know and understand how to use digital images. No special software is required but you must be able to print digital images in order to showcase them.
Use a digital camera to photograph your work. No scanned images please.
Ensure that the photos of your work be sharp and have a nice presentation.
Promote Guylou's Inimitability by placing a clickable blog button on your blog. (We will provide the button to you if you are chosen to be on the team) and a link to your fellow DT members' blogs.
Provide a recent picture of yourself to be posted it the DT section of Guylou's Inimitability blog.
Be willing to commit to a six (6) month term (January 1st, 2012 to -June 30th, 2012) with possibility of another six (6) month extension.
Most of all, have fun!! Expectations and guidelines are importants, but having a good time while on the DT is as important.

What do DT members get as part of being on the team?

You will receive free Guylou's Inimitability images!
Once selected as part of the DT you will receive 3 images of your choice to create with in order to announce your position on the team.

The Guylou's Inimitability DT is an awesome and fun group of crafters. You will have the opportunity to get to know wonderful artists and be inspired by their work as you will inspire them.

Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge

October is Breast Cancer Awareness. Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in women and the second leading cause of death. Your best weapon against breast cancer is EARLY DETECTION through two common methods of breast screening: breast examination (self and clinical) and screening mammography. Your health is important; you are important. Take good care of yourself.

Summertime has finally showed up in the Northern Hemisphere. People are smiling and enjoying the outdoors, burgers are sizzling on the BBQ and the flowers are blooming sharing with us their sweet aroma. Couldn't be a better time to have a Sweet Summertime Challenge!!!

It is with great pleasure that i want to introduce to you a young new artist who just joined Guylou's Inimitability. Jega is my 18 year old son. He is currently attending university where he is studying Psychology. He loves to draw whenever he has a chance, especially fantasy characters. Tonight he agreed to start drawing for Guylou's Inimitability. I am so excited and proud. I am a big fan of his art, not just because I am his mom! ;).

His first image for us is called Mr. Hoppikins. Mr. Hoppikins is not the kind of rabbit that jumps out of a hat,,, he wears the hat.

Guylou has created this unique and fun digi to help raise funds for this cause. GI will be donating 100% of the sale proceeds of Doctor Chuck between February 1-28, 2011 to DWB. Chuck aspires to become a doctor one day; he has a big heart to help the less fortunate and make a difference in this world... just like the courageous doctors who volunteer for Doctors Without Borders. Digi artists love to create and offer their images to the Crafter Community. The cyber world has given a great opportunity to artists for selling their art at affordable prices and in a convenient way. As wonderful this cyber world can be, it has also given thieves new opportunities to perform their awful act of stealing.

Recently, a wonderful artist named Maurie J. Manning (a.k.a MO) of Mo's Digital Pencil was the victim of STAMP/ART Theft. Now, when she tracked down the thief she also noticed that their were several other stamp companies that were also being hijacked.

In response to this hideous attack on the Artist community, Mo has created a site and started a campaign to STAMP OUT ART THIEVES.
